The mission of the Saint Patrick's Day Parade Committee is to support Charlotte's St. Patrick’s Day Parade and related activities, and to celebrate the contributions of the Irish to American society, with student scholarships, educational initiatives, publications and an ambitious year-round program of social and culture events

Charlotte has held a St. Patrick's Day parade and festival for over 26 years. However, the pandemic and other circumstances resulted in the cancellation of the 2020, 2021, and 2022 parade.

That all changed in 2023. Together with a strong volunteer board, Rory Wall re-ignited the Irish tradition in Charlotte, rebuilding an incredible Festival and Parade.

Rory Wall and Michael Lenahan have now led two seasons of Parades & Festivals, with 2025 being the next task.

We are planning a wonderful parade with marching bands, floats, and civic organizations celebrating our city and Saint Patrick's Day!

In addition, we plan to have a full festival event with food, vendors and attractions.
